Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors submitting manuscripts to Samkvidro are expected to ensure that:

• the submitted work is original and represents their own scholarly research;
• the manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
• all sources, quotations, data, and ideas derived from other works are appropriately acknowledged and cited;
• research findings are presented accurately and transparently;
• no data, sources, results, or other research materials have been fabricated or falsified;
• all individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research and manuscript are appropriately recognized in accordance with accepted authorship principles;
• any relevant conflicts of interest are disclosed;
• all necessary permissions and ethical approvals have been obtained where applicable; and
• the manuscript complies with the journal’s publication and ethical policies.

Academic Misconduct

Samkvidro does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate or redundant publication, inappropriate manipulation of sources or data, authorship misconduct, peer-review manipulation, or other forms of academic misconduct.

Plagiarism includes the use of another person’s words, ideas, data, or other intellectual work without appropriate acknowledgement. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality and proper attribution of their submissions.

Editorial and Reviewer Responsibilities

Editors and reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and confidentially. They must disclose any potential conflict of interest and must not use unpublished information obtained through the editorial or peer-review process for personal or professional advantage.

Editors are responsible for making editorial decisions independently and on the basis of the scholarly merits of submitted work. Editorial decisions must not be influenced by an author’s nationality, institutional affiliation, academic status, gender, ethnicity, religion, political views, or other personal characteristics unrelated to the quality of the research.

Allegations of Misconduct

Where plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, authorship misconduct, peer-review manipulation, or other forms of academic misconduct are suspected, Samkvidro will assess the matter carefully and may initiate an appropriate investigation.

The editorial team may request explanations or supporting documentation from the authors and, where necessary, consult relevant institutions, editors, reviewers, or independent specialists.

Investigations are conducted in accordance with the principles of fairness, confidentiality, due process, and protection of the integrity of the scholarly record.

Where misconduct is confirmed, the journal may take appropriate action, which may include rejection of the manuscript, correction of the published article, retraction, notification of relevant institutions, or other measures considered necessary to protect the integrity of the academic record.

Integrity of the Scholarly Record

Samkvidro is committed to maintaining the accuracy and reliability of the published scholarly record. Where significant errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, the journal may publish a correction, retraction, or other appropriate editorial notice in accordance with its Corrections & Retractions Policy.

The journal encourages authors, reviewers, and readers to report suspected ethical or publication-related concerns to the editorial team.
