Samkvidro follows a double-blind peer-review process for all Research Articles submitted for publication. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the peer-review process.

1. Editorial Screening

All submitted manuscripts first undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine whether they:

• fall within the journal’s aims and scope;
• constitute original scholarly research;
• meet the journal’s academic and methodological standards;
• comply with the journal’s submission and formatting requirements; and
• satisfy the journal’s ethical and publication policies.

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected at the editorial screening stage without being sent for external peer review.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are sent to independent reviewers with appropriate expertise in the relevant field.

Under the double-blind review system, reviewers are not informed of the identity or institutional affiliation of the authors, and authors are not informed of the identity of the reviewers. Authors are therefore required to remove identifying information from the manuscript submitted for review.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts with regard to, among other relevant criteria:

• originality and significance of the research;
• methodological and scholarly rigor;
• quality and appropriate use of sources;
• clarity and coherence of the argument;
• engagement with relevant scholarly literature;
• validity of the conclusions; and
• the overall contribution of the research to the field.

3. Editorial Decision

Following consideration of the reviewers’ reports, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final editorial decision. The possible decisions are:

• Accept
• Accept with Minor Revisions
• Revise and Resubmit
• Reject

Editorial decisions are based on the scholarly merits of the manuscript and the recommendations arising from the peer-review process.

4. Revisions

Where revisions are requested, authors are expected to address the reviewers’ comments carefully and, where appropriate, provide a clear response explaining how the manuscript has been revised.

A revised manuscript may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation. The journal may request additional revisions before a final publication decision is reached.

5. Principles of Peer Review

Samkvidro is committed to ensuring that peer review is fair, impartial, confidential, consistent, and academically rigorous.

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, maintain confidentiality, disclose any potential conflict of interest, and avoid using unpublished information obtained through the review process for personal or professional advantage.

Editorial decisions are made independently of the author’s nationality, institutional affiliation, academic status, gender, ethnicity, religion, political views, or other personal characteristics unrelated to the scholarly quality of the work.

The journal does not guarantee acceptance on the basis of an author’s academic position, institutional affiliation, previous publications, or reputation. All Research Articles are evaluated according to the same academic and editorial standards.
