The collection “Manna” by Gabriel Mtsire (18th century) contains forty hymns: to the Mother of God, Jesus Christ, the Life-giving Cross, angels, John the Baptist, apostles, martyrs, high priests, holy fathers, Elijah, holy kings and righteous people.

We based the published text on the earliest manuscript – H 1748, because Gabriel the Less himself had a reference in this list: “This manuscript is originally useful and has been corrected in truth with much diligence”.

Manuscript H 1748 consists of 286 pages. The project was completed in 2020 and published the same year as the book.
